Déjà Vu Showgirls
Of all the strip clubs around Vegas, the one brand you might already be familiar with is Déjà Vu Showgirls. You’ll find this brand of club scattered throughout the United States. It’s the brand that used the rather interesting slogan, “Hundreds of beautiful girls…and three ugly ones.”
Basically, they fit it right into their official slogan that you basically can’t complain about the quality of girls, because there will always be “three ugly ones.” It’s an interesting tactic, and one that plays fine in your local clubs. Heck, because it’s a national brand your local Vu probably gets the best touring performers thanks to its connections. It’s basically the Ticketmaster of strip clubs.
But if you’ve used Ticketmaster before, you know how annoying it can be. And, well, there are some annoyances with Déjà Vu Showgirls here in Vegas.
The Déjà Vu Showgirls Strippers
When walking into the club, you’re going to find that it feels very much like your strip club back home. It has that hometown strip club feel. Kind of like an Applebeas. While there’s something comforting about the local club back home, as it isn’t as intimidating and, after a few visits, you’ll know everyone’s names and which bartender serves the stiffer drinks, that’s not why you come to Vegas.
All of this always ends up being reflected in the caliber of stripper working the club. The highest quality girl is going to work at one of the bigger named clubs. That’s where all the money goes, and those girls who are at the top of the food chain will want to keep that money.
Sure, one or two hotties will fall through the cracks, swooping into the Vu because there’s less competition (and they do clean up), but you’ll find there just aren’t as many high end girls. Are there some? Yes. But if those handful of bombshells are giving private dances for the rest of the night you’ll find you’re left with the “and three ugly ones.”
For most guys, visiting the Deja Vu Las Vegas club won’t have the same kind of impactful punch as the other clubs. And yet, for others, it might be just right. Like we said earlier, it isn’t as intimidating, which for some is great. And maybe you’re less inclined to blow your wad of cash on girls if they aren’t looking as good, but you just want to pop into a strip club to say you went to a Vegas club. If that’s the case, who knows, maybe the Deja Vu club is perfect for you.
VIP Room
Now, aside from what we said about the girls and the general vibe of the club, if you want to get the most mileage for your money in a VIP lounge, Déjà Vu Showgirls is absolutely the place to go.
Seriously, the price can’t be beat. A regular lap dance costs $20, while a VIP room, which is three songs, is $90. That’s all fine, but you can book yourself a full, private room, with a closing door (none of that weak curtain stuff going on here) for a full hour, and a bottle of champagne, for $500. You’re not going to find that kind of deal at any of the other stripclubs in the city, we can promise you that.
The girls at the club also seem to realize that while they might not be a top-tier club with the A-lister talent, they can make up for it with just how good their dances are. So that private VIP lounge dance is much, much more physical.
Now, we still believe there’s probably camera in the private rooms, as we’ve never been to a club that doesn’t have cameras in the back rooms (nobody is trying to spy on you, it’s more for legality than anything else)
Just how hands on will the dancers be? Well, that’s between you and your dancer. We have found the best way to get a bit of a sneak peak is to spring for the $20 regular dance, then go until you find a girl that really does it for you.
The club itself isn’t nude. There’s only one stripclub in the city that is all nude, but once you are into the VIP champagne room, nude is much more likely to happen.
Other Club Benefits
Well, Déjà Vu Showgirls is like most other strip clubs at this point. You’ll find all your classic cocktails, well drinks, and domestic beers. There isn’t anything in the way of real food, but there’s a few bar snacks. The dress code is pretty casual as well, although we’d recommend leaving the ball cap back at the hotel. Most stripclubs just won’t let you in with the ball cap.
If you’re in town on a Tuesday it might be alright action, as the club will be more or less dead, and there are special $2 drink deals.
As for the cost of entrance, the cover is $55 (yeah, much more than your Vu back home). However, if you plan ahead you can contact the club and ask for the house limo. This is going to give you a free ride to the club plus free cover. You won’t get any added drink specials, but you’ll have $55 still in your pocket to use for drinks (which will go even further if you stop by on Tuesday).
Verdict
Déjà Vu Showgirls doesn’t really feel like a Vegas strip club. It feels like your Anytown, USA club. If that’s what you’re looking for, or if you’re more comfortable in a smaller, more familiar club, this is an option. Or, if you are tired of the hotter girls at the other clubs giving lackluster VIP dances, you’ll absolutely get what you’re looking for here. Ultimately it’s up to you.
